Hello,

I've moved Promash over to a brand new computer running Vista. I can open up existing sessions or recipes, but cannot create new sessions or recipes. I am forced to copy the files and then open them as existing files.

Any ideas ?

Thanks!

When you say you cannot create new recipes or brewing session, what do you mean? Does the program crash when you try to? Issue a message that it cannot create a new recipe? Tell you the eval period is over? Let me know and I will try to resolve it, just need to find out exactly what is happening first.

Thanks!

- Jeff

Jeff,

I've got to apologize, I overlooked the message from the board and totally forgot about replying.

The actual problems are :

1) The load recipe button simply does not work. No error message and no crash. Its ignored as far as I can tell.

2) When using new session button, the pick recipe button has the same symptom as 1). No crash, no action.

I totally mis-stated the problem in the previous message.

I purchased ProMash, so its not an eval version. Perhaps the problem has something to do with Vista security on folders ?

Thanks Jeff, sorry for the late response.
